amelia has a comprehensive system of alerts to facilitate the management of passengers affected by an operational deviation from schedule. This functionality is the equivalent of ‘queues’ common in legacy systems. Users can move through the alerts list, select an alert and handle it (mark it ‘handled’) - this will help to avoid duplication of contact/effort (in a call center environment, for example). You can access the Alerts screen from the menu (Operations -> Alerts).
TIP: The Alerts screen can also be opened using the F11 key or by double-clicking the alert count at the bottom right of the ameliaRES window.
