Interline IROPS

Edit Route has been updated to handle IROPS situation for Interline reservations where amelia flight(s) are followed by interline flight(s) within the IATCI trip buffer.  Selecting Edit Route will provide combined amelia-partner flight options.

We will send a message to the OAL (other airline) requesting segments selected in Edit Route. Based on their response, we will allow ticket exchange.

With required permissions, ticket exchange can be completed in IROPS mode.  When the Involuntary Change checkbox is selected from the Ticket Maintenance screen, an even exchange will be done regardless if the change caused a price discrepancy.

Tickets exchanged in IROPS mode will include an INVOL tag.

After an exchange is done on an interline reservation, the ticket coupons for all segments are displayed in the Reservation E-Tickets window.  You cannot edit the coupons for the OAL segments.

The new ticket information for the partner flights will be sent out to the OAL.

For Interline reservations, we currently only support IROPS exchange of the interline segments.  The Involuntary Change checkbox will always be selected in this scenario.  If a user does not have permission to do exchanges in IROPS mode, they will not be able to exchange tickets for interline reservations.
