Name Change Upgrade Fee

An upgrade fee may now be automatically applied (in addition to the configured name change fee) when a Pax Name Change is done.

This Upgrade Fee is calculated (Upgrade Fee = [lowest available fare (OR highest fare if Fare Family is sold out)] - [current/booked fare]) and can be set to always apply (A), or to apply up to a capped amount (C). When a cap applies, the Upgrade Fee is calculated the same way, but is reduced by the amount of previous upgrade fees already applied to the reservation (Upgrade Fee = [new/calculated upgrade fee] - [total of all existing upgrade fees]). In both cases, the Upgrade Fee cannot have a negative value - ie. it never results in a refund.
