Re-Activate a cancelled reservation

Step-by-step guide

1.) In the example below, you can see a cancelled reservation - this one has been cancelled because the hold time expired while waiting for e-tickets. On the right hand side of the reservation screen, you can see the highlighted Activate Res button. Clicking this button will remove both the cancellation reason and the cancellation number.

2.) Next, right-click in the blank segments window, a small menu will pop up which will show only one option: "Show cancelled segs". Choosing that option will show the previous segments that had been on the reservation, so you may use it as a reference.

3.) If you do not know what fare they're booked under, you can go to the "Charges" screen. At the mid-point of the screen, there is a "Show charges history" checkbox. Checking this box will allow you to see the previous fare that was selected. In the case here, it was O-Airmiles (which it is for all of them, but I figured it best to include this step). Close the charges window when you are finished.

4.) Click the Change Seg button in the top right corner of the reservations screen. Once you have done this, click Add and go through the booking process as per usual. When you are finished, you will see that the status is "On hold until: E-Ticket Reservation". Also highlighted, there is the Hold button. This will actually allow you to change the hold time to a much longer time period. Once you click it, a window will pop up (as shown in the second picture) with a date box and a time box. You can choose whichever date and time you like. This feature is also available on any reservation that is on hold.
