Manual Ticket Issuance
amelia Tickets can now be manually updated by using the Manage Documents button in the Reservation Tickets screen. The Manage Documents button and functionality are controlled via the permission Reservations > Operations > Booking > amelia Ticketing Manual - Access.
When a change is made to the reservation (e.g. add/edit charges, add/edit/cancel segment, change remaining, etc), the T- Tickets button on the reservation screen will become red. This indicates a change has happened that affects the tickets or EMDs. By clicking Manage Documents, the ticketing screen will be updated to reflect the new changes on the reservation. When the reservation screen is closed, if there are documents that need managed, the user will be prompted to perform the action. In this case, no permission is required.
With this feature disabled, the tickets and EMDs will always update automatically. When a payment is made on the reservation, the tickets and EMDs will automatically update even with this feature enabled.
The main advantage to having this enabled is to allow the users to have more control over the tickets and EMDs rather than having everything happen without their involvement.
