Payment Methods Screen
The Payment Methods screen allows you to define the payment methods (such as cash, on account, credit cards) available in your system. Access it from the menu (Utilities -> Payment Methods).
WARNING: Once a Payment Method has been defined, you should NOT change its identifier (ID Code). Doing so could cause significant issues with your IBE.

Adding a Payment Method
To add a payment method, click the Add button on the Payment Methods screen. The screen will switch into Add/Edit mode, where you can enter the required details. Click the Save button to complete the operation.

| Control | Description |

| Processing Fee | Processing Fee associated with the use of the Payment Method. Can be set to a fixed Value or a Percentage of the Payment (only available with Processing Fee Type of ‘Per Payment’). Processing Fees may also be set in multiple Currencies and/or by Route Type, if those features are enabled. |
| Minimum / Maximum | The minimum and maximum Processing Fee when using ‘Percentage’. |
| Processing Fee Type | Set the Type of Processing Fee:

| Currency | You may set a fixed value (per currency) by setting the Static Rate to Y in the Currency grid. |
Editing a Payment Method
To edit a payment method, click the Edit button on the Payment Methods screen. The screen will switch into Add/Edit mode, where you can make the required changes. Click the Save button to complete the operation.
