Passive Segments for Baggage

This feature enables the ability to create a bag that routes to another airport other than the ameliaRES destination, allows baggage tag printing to external destination on a non-partner flight.

Step to add passive segments for baggage:

• Open the Check-in screen and add a bag to a passenger.

• Double click on a barcode to launch the Baggage Search screen with the entire route of the bag.

• Click Passive Segment, you will be presented with the Passive Segment Add form. Please note that this form has no validation, make sure you enter the correct data.

• Enter the required information and click OK so add the segment.
