In order to select a flight for Check In operations, you must select the flight date, departure airport and flight number. A list of passengers is then retrieved for the selected flight.

Scanner Not ReadyThis displays the status of an attached Barcode Scanner. Click this indicator and scan an Itinerary or Boarding Pass once it turns green. The associated passenger is then checked in or boarded (enplaned).

When the Check In screen is in Boarding Mode, non-essential functions are disabled, and selected passengers can be boarded using the ENTER key. To enable Boarding Mode, put a checkmark in the Enable Boarding Mode checkbox. Remove the checkmark when you want to disable Boarding Mode.

Passenger Check In

To begin the check-in process, select a passenger and click the J - Check In button on the Check In screen. If the passenger has a balance owing, you will prompted for payment. If required by the government in your jurisdiction, a No-Fly list verification is done. The passenger is then checked in - Pax Status is updated (from NOIN to CKIN).

To open the Passenger Baggage screen, select a passenger and click the B - Baggage button on the Check In screen. This screen allows you to add and remove passenger baggage.

Adding Baggage Pieces

To add a piece of baggage, click the Add button on the Passenger Baggage screen, and enter the baggage type, weight, and notes.

To view or print a manifest for the current flight, click the P - Print Manifest button on the Check In screen. The flight’s manifest is displayed in the amelia Report Viewer, where you can print it or save a copy.

Load Summary

Click the M - Load Summary button on the Check In screen to view or print the Load Summary. The Load Summary gives you a breakdown of flight weights, including baggage, fuel, cargo, and more.
