The Assigned Seat Maps tab is where you may change the assigned Seat Map (by flight). The default Seat Map for the A/C model will be assigned by default.

The Seat Map Templates tab is where you can view the available Seat Maps, by A/C model. If you have the proper Permissions, you can also add, edit, or delete templates from here.

If you have multiple currencies configured, you may change which one is displayed using the All Prices in listbox. Seat Type Charges may also be set in multiple Currencies and/or by Route Type, if those features are enabled.
To edit a Seat Type Charge, select it and click the Edit button on the Seat Type Charges screen. The Edit Seat Type Charge screen is displayed, where you can make the required changes. Click the Save button to complete the operation.

Seat Selection (from Passenger Reservation screen)
To assign seats from a reservation, simply click the S-Select Seat button on the Passenger Reservation screen. The Seat Selection Tool is displayed - select a passenger and a leg, then click on a seat to assign it. Click the Save button to complete the operation.

If any Charges are incurred as a result of the Seat Assignment, the Seat Assignment Charges screen is displayed. You have 3 options here:
Click 3 - Yes to apply the listed Charge(s) and proceed with Seat Assignment.
Click 4 - No to cancel Seat Assignment (no charges are applied).
Click 2 - Remove Charges to proceed with Seat Assignment, without applying the Charge(s).

If changes affecting Seat Assignment (such as a Bulk Move or A/C model change) are made to a flight where passengers are booked and assigned seats, you will be prompted to re-assign them on the new flight/aircraft, using the Assign Template screen.

You have 2 options here:
Click NO to cancel the automatic reassignment. Exceptions will be created and can be actioned from the Re-Assign Seats screen, which can be accessed from the menu (Operations -> Re-Assign Seats) and is described in section 11 of the ameliaRES User Manual.
Click YES to apply the selected Seat Map Template - the system will attempt to transfer the existing seat assignments. Only seats where the seat number and seat type match can be automatically assigned. If there are any mismatches, the Seat Selection Tool is displayed, so you can manually reassign seats.
You may postpone seat reassignment for exceptions by clicking the Cancel button. Remaining Seat Assignment exceptions can be corrected using the Re-Assign Seats screen.
