23.06 Release Notes
New Features
API
RESTv1 (See the API documentation for further details)
PUT/POST cityPairs/{cityPairCode}/charges now supports explicitly setting multi-currency amounts.
Simple interline reservations can now be made via API. Please note that ancillaries and seat selections are not supported yet.
Events are now being generated whenever a seat is added, removed or changed.
DCS
The notes on passenger baggage can now be updated. This requires the user be granted the permission Reservation > Operations > Baggage Handling > Baggage Notes - Modify.
At a specific time before departure, the system can automatically check-in passengers and email them their boarding passes. This feature can reduce congestion at the check-in counter as any passenger not checking baggage can go directly through security. All applicable security requirements (e.g. APIS) take place as with a traditional check-in. This feature can be configured to only auto check-in passengers on specific city pairs.
TICKETS
E-Ticket Revalidation is now supported for GDS bookings and codeshare bookings. The operation can be done from the Ticket Maintenance screen in ameliaRES.
The system now supports refunding E-tickets against the Amadeus ETDB.
To cover the penalty fees for codeshare bookings, you have the option to issue amelia EMDs. While your e-tickets will be kept in your primary ETDB from the likes of Travelport or Amadeus, our internal ETDB will store the EMDs.
RES
The TMR Bookings web report now shows individual leg information rather than just the segment information.
The Market Load Factor report will now include flights with 0% load. This allows the airline to see these cases ahead of time and react accordingly.
OPS
If using the new crew module:
Crew members are shown on the Crew tab in Flight+.
A crew members can now be assigned to an entire flight in one update.
You can now launch the Flight Crew Members screen by right-clicking a flight in the Dispatch Master Grid, Planning Master Grid, and Tail Scheduling screens.
Enhancements / Improvements
IASCASE / Issue # | Description |
---|---|
| When refunding amelia tickets, the system can exclude the non-refundable charges from the total refundable amount. This helps prevent mistakes while issuing refunds and incentivize customers to purchase tickets with refundable fares. |
31685/34275 | Multiline SSR parsing causes ASC send failure. |
33432 | Previously, when a notification was sent from the alerts, the reservation audit entry would show the system user. The audit will now show the amelia user who triggered the notification. |
