New Features

API

RESTv1

  • A new GET loyaltyTiers endpoint has been created to retrieve the list of loyalty tiers and their associated details.

  • The loyalty tier of a specific frequent flyer can now be updated using the PUT frequentFlyers/{frequentFlyersKey} endpoint.

DCS

  • Crew baggage (CREW) and company materials (COMAT) can be added to flights via the Baggage Handling interface. The Load Summary and Print Manifest reports will have specific sections for each type of baggage. Baggage tags will be labelled to indicate they are for crew (CREW) or company material's (MAIL). Contact us if you wish to enable this feature.

  • The Load Summary report can now display the assigned Tail Number for the flight.

DIRECT

  • Introducing our new Pay Later/Hold option. The name of this feature is “Pay to hold.” You are now able to present your customers with the option to pay a fee to secure a reservation with your airline. If the balance isn't paid within a configurable timeframe, the reservation is automatically canceled without the fee being refunded. This offers your customers the flexibility to reserve seats with a small deposit, while creating an additional revenue stream for your airline. Now available to your airline through both SOAR and the API.

  • SOAR agent now allows travel agents to edit a segment if all passengers are in a no-show state. This will allow the travel agencies to change the passengers' flights rather than relying on your call center. Contact us if you wish to enable this feature.

GDS / Interline

  • The system has been updated to allow the issuing of amelia EMDs for GDS bookings, specifically for no-show fees when a segment is cancelled.

  • The system will now respect the ticket time limit specified in TRL messages by interline and codeshare partners.

  • In the past, flights that had no availability were not displayed on the interline travel options screen, which occasionally led to a "No matching results" message. However, moving forward, we have made a change to show flights with 0 availability in order to enhance clarity and user-friendliness.

  • Taxes for interline bookings will now be recorded as individual charges, providing a clearer representation.

TICKETS

  • We have implemented an enhancement to effectively manage infant e-tickets in interline and codeshare bookings.

RES

  • With our new reservation change fee configuration option, your airline has the flexibility to develop an additional revenue stream by setting a fee for any reservations that are changed in the call center. When a change is made that incurs a balance, an automatic fee will be applied during the payment process. The fee can be overridden by a user with appropriate permissions.

Tickets for no-showed passengers were being refund via an EMD. They are now being refunded directly.
