Interline Booking

Interline bookings can now be created and ticketed from amelia. This feature can bring a lot of benefit to your airline and passengers in expanding your network, providing better service and cheaper fare prices.

Users with the proper permissions will see a new button named I - Interline which can be used to search for travel options from/to all airports in the world, not just ones configured in amelia.

Travel Options for interline bookings includes partners' flights that are published to OAG.

Fares and fees are retrieved from ATPCO.

After the booking is created, the system will send a message to the partner airline requesting seats. The segment status codes let you know the status of the request/whether it has been confirmed by the partner airline.

Once the seats are confirmed, E-Tickets can be issued from amelia using the Ticket Maintenance screen.
