Why can I not split my passenger from a reservation?

Problem

I have a passenger I am trying to split but I get a message saying:

Solution

The recommended procedure is to split the pax and than cancel. In this case the user cancelled and then wanted to split.  If this occurs you should:

1) If you want to use the credit for Pax on this file: You would refund from the cancelled pax and make a payment against the other pax.
OR
2) If you want the cancelled pax to have a credit on file: You can create a new booking with the cancelled pax. Cancel that file. Do a transfer credit from the old file to the new.
