(feature) Loyalty Program

The Loyalty Program gives your airline the ability to automatically grant points to passengers in the program for flying with you. Accrued points can then be redeemed for discounted/free Fares.

Administration

On the Inventory Setup screen:

  • Create a Booking Code for the Loyalty fares. Make sure to set the Fare Status to Loyalty.

  • Create one or more Fare Classes to be used for Loyalty redemption in this Booking Code. Make sure to set the Fare Status to Loyalty for each of these Fare Classes.

  • Set the Loyalty Multiplier for each Fare Class defined above. This is the percentage (defaults to 100%) of regular points accrual (based on city pair) when using this Fare Class.

On the Fares Setup screen:

  • Allocate the number of points granted for each City Pair.
  • Create a Fare based on the Loyalty Fare Classes defined above for each City Pair. This is where you specify the number of points needed to redeem the Fare.

On the Seat Allocations screen:

  • Allocate seats to the Loyalty Booking Code defined above - do this for any flights where customers may redeem their points.

Accruing Points

Passengers who have a User Profile can accrue points. Points are granted for booking from any sales channel (IBE, call center), as long as the User Profile is selected or logged into. The points are credited when the customer is enplaned.

Current Balance

Your customers may contact your call center to obtain their current point balance. A Customer Service Agent can look up this information using the User Profiles screen.

Redeeming Points

Customers must contact your call center to redeem points. A Customer Service Agent can create the reservation (By Schedule only) for them. Loyalty (in the Show Fares area) must be selected on the Fare Class Selection screen. Then, the Pax Search button should be used to associate the customer’s User Profile to the reservation. Assuming the passenger has the required loyalty points, the rest of the booking process is unchanged.
