18 - Fares Setup
Fares Setup Screen
The Fares Setup screen allows you to configure and price your Fares. Access it from the menu (Utilities -> Fares Setup).

Control | Description |
---|---|
Route Type | You may double-click a value in this column to filter by Route Type (DOM or INT) - the selected Route Type will display at the top of the grid. |
All Prices in: | The Currency in which Fares are displayed. |
Adding a City Pair
To add a city pair (that doesn’t currently exist), select the departure and arrival airports in the listboxes at the top left of the Fares Setup screen, and click the Add button.
Adding Fares to a City Pair
To add a Fare, select the city pair in the City Pair area, then click in the Fare Particulars area and click the Add button on the Fares Setup screen. The Fare Particulars screen is displayed, where you can configure the Fare. Click the Save button to complete the operation.

Control | Description |
---|---|
Fare Class | The (parent) Fare Class applicable to this Fare. |
On-Sale From / On-Sale To | The timeframe during which the Fare is available for sale (booking dates). |
Travel From / Travel To | The timeframe during which the Fare is available for travel (travel dates). |
Trip Departure | Fare availability can be restricted to the selected departure airport. Use NA to not restrict the Fare in this manner. |
Rate | The base price for the Fare, in the base currency (excluding taxes and other charges). |
Promo Codes | When Promo Codes are enabled, you may select the Promo Codes that are applicable to this Fare here. |
Tax Configuration | You may apply a different tax config (to the specific City Pair and Fare) here, if required. Otherwise, set this to No Override. |
Non-Directional | When enabled, the fare is non-directional - a Fare is created for each direction. (ex: City pair A-B will have a Fare for A->B and another for B->A.) |
Rate | You may set a fixed value (per currency) by setting the Static Rate to Y in the Currency grid. |
Adding a City Pair Charge
To add a City Pair Charge, select the city pair in the City Pair area, then click in the City Pair Charges area and click the Add button on the Fares Setup screen. The City Pair Charges screen is displayed, where you can enter the required details. Click the Save button to complete the operation.

WARNING: If the selected Charge is not of the Manual type, there is a chance passengers could be double-billed (Charge applied more than once).

Control | Description |
---|---|
Charge Type | The Charge Type that applies to the City Pair Charge. |
Rate | The base amount of the Charge (excluding applicable taxes). |
Non-Directional | When enabled, the charge is non-directional - a Charge is created for each direction. (ex: City pair A-B will have a Charge for A->B and another for B->A.) |
From / To | The timeframe during which the City Pair Charge is applicable. |
Trip Departure | The Charge can be restricted to the selected departure airport. Use NA to not restrict the Charge in this manner. |
Rate | You may set a fixed value (per currency) for the charge by setting the Static Rate to Y in the Currency grid. Otherwise, these are converted from the base currency. |
