Transfer Credit Workaround
A bug which affects the ability to look up a corresponding reservation in order to transfer credits has been introduced in our latest release 16.03. This tutorial is a work around for that bug.
Step-by-step guide
To transfer credits from one reservation to another use the following steps, until you are advised that the issue has been corrected.
- Open the reservation you want to take funds from and click on the payment button. (Keeping in mind, that the reservation must be cancelled first)
- You will see the amount come up as a negative number. Keep this the same way. For payment method you may have one called "Transfer Credit", if so, use that one. If not, Cash works just fine. In the notes field, write a short description of what reservation the money will be transferred to.
- You will see the balance clear on the reservation. Once you have witnessed this, move to the reservation you want to put the funds on.
- In the reservation you want to transfer the funds to, click the payment button. Enter in the payment as a "Transfer Payment" OR if you don't have that option available, use "Cash". Make sure you enter the notes which reservation the money came from.
