How to Use Group Name Import
The steps below detail how to use the Group Name Import (after it's setup/configured).
If your airline doesn't yet have the Group Name Import feature enabled, it may require some development to enable it. Contact your account manager to have it enabled.
Step-by-step guide
- Create a reservation for the entire charter flight with T.B.A. passengers. It is important to leave them as the default (T.B.A.) as the importer will only work with passengers having this name. (Once you have entered any other names, the importer will not be available as an option and you will need to enter them manually.)
- Go to your website and login.
- Click on Edit Reservation.
- Search for your reservation:
- Click Continue.
- Click on Import Passenger List.
Browse to your CSV file with the names of the passengers and click Open.
A sample is displayed when you choose the option “Click here for an example”.
The CSV file requires the following fields, listed in order:
PassengerNumber
FirstName
LastName
MiddleName
LoyaltyID
Gender
IsChild
DateOfBirth
Address1
City
Country
PostalCode
Province
MobilePhoneNumber

Email

NOTES:
- The entire header row is required.
- There needs to be precisely as many passenger records in the CSV file as there are passengers on the reservation.
- The following fields are required: PassengerNumber, FirstName, LastName, MiddleName, Province, Gender, IsChild.
The date fields must be provided. If you do not have values for those fields, then provide them as follows:

The import results will be displayed. If there are any issues with formatting or missing data, appropriate alert messages will appear.
