Split Route by Frequency
Sometimes you want to remove or split parts of a route based on the day. This tutorial will show you how.
Step-by-step guide
- Navigate to Operations > Flight Management > Routes
- Find the Route you wish to split. Click on it to highlight it. If it contains dates that are now in the past, you must split out the past dates before splitting it by days of the week.
- Click the Split Route button at the bottom. You will see a new screen come up.
- Notice there are 2 tabs. One is for splitting by date and one is for splitting by frequency. To first split out the dates in the past, make sure you are on the split by date tab. Without changing the date in the box, click, split route. The date in the box is defaulted to split everything prior to today. You do not need to change that date for this, as we only want to split what has already happened.
- Once you have completed the date split, you now want to do the frequency split. Select the route that is for the dates in the future. When you have that highlighted, click split route.
- Look at the tabs at the top of this page. Select the "Split by Frequency" tab.
- Here you see different days of the week. The days of the week that your flight goes are in bold black print whereas days of the week it does not operate are in plain text. Double click all the bold black days of the week that you wish to seperate. You will see them appear in the box below in red. Click Ok to complete the split.
