Flight Schedule Changes using Split Route

To change the time of one or more specific flight(s)/date(s) in a Route, follow these steps:

1. In Route Management, find the route in question and confirm the necessary changes. (Example route is VJ811, operating from Feb. 18 - Dec. 31.)

2. Let's say you want to change the time for the flights on Feb. 21 - 23. Select the Split Route button (on Route Management, in the lower left corner).

3. Select the split date (02/21/2016, in this case), and click OK. The resulting split route is highlighted:

4. Without changing the selected route/flight, click Split Route again. Select the second split date (02/24/2016, in our example), and click OK.

Once again, the resulting split route is highlighted:

5. Select the split route that covers only the dates/flights to be changed (Feb. 21 - 23), and select the Edit button (in the lower right corner) or double-click on it.

6. Click Edit, update the Departure and/or Arrival times, and select OK. Click Save if the changes look as expected.

The updated times are now displayed in Route Management. (In our example, Dep was updated to 10:55 and Arr was updated to 14:00.)

In the SSIM file, this route will appear like this:

(Since it was split twice, it now has 3 entries.)
