How to set up iPhone or iPad with Citrix amelia Access

If Citrix access is needed on an iPhone or iPad device, follow these instructions to install and use the Citrix Receiver application to access your amelia applications.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Search for Citrix Workspace in the App Store on your device.
  2. Start the Citrix Workspace after it has been installed.
  3. Once the Citrix Workspace application starts, you will be prompted to "Get Started".
  4. After clicking Get Started, on the next screen click the top right menu and then click on Manual Setup.
  5. After clicking Manual Setup, you will get a screen where you can enter the URL or address for the amelia Citrix Portal and click on Web Interface and then click Save in the top right corner.
  6. On the next screen, enter your Citrix User ID and Password and click the Logon button.
  7. Now your User ID's Apps will appear and you can click on the amelia App on this screen. If you have a longer list of Apps, you can click on the star sign to the left to add an App to your favorites which can be accessed using the Favorites tab at the top of the screen. You can then click on your amelia Application. You 
  8. Once you have started your amelia Application, you will see the familiar login screen where you can enter your amelia User ID and Password.
  9. To access the keyboard and other functions, there is a tab at the bottom of your screen. This tab will disappear after a brief idle time, but if you just touch the screen, the tab should return and you can access the keyboard and other functions.
  10. You will then get your normal amelia Application screen after logging in and be able to access the functions required.
