Seat Allocations - Audit and History

Audit and history of the seat allocations on any selected flight on any selected day

Step-by-step guide

The is an audit and history trail in the seat allocations screen of ameliaRES
This article will show you the two different methods of displaying this audit and what the corresponding delays mean

  • Display the Seat Allocations screen by going to Operations → Seat Allocations
  • Select the date required and the flight required.

  • From this display you will be able to reach the Audit and History summary
  • This will only work for the Agency and the Booking Code sections of the Seat Allocations screen
  • Starting with the Agency area, highlight the agency you would like to see the audit / history

  • Right click on the highlight (blue section) of the agency area

  • In this display you will be able to see:
    • The date with time stamp, that a change or reservation was made
    • The USER who either updated the agency section OR made the reservation 
    • The level of service (First, Business, Economy)
    • What is / was allocated
    • From which area 
    • How many seats were sold
  • Note that you can print this for your records if needed

 

  • From the Booking Code portion of the screen repeat the process
    • Highlight the booking coded you'd like to review
    • Right click on the highlight bar

  • In this display you will be able to see:
    • The date with time stamp, that a change or reservation was made
    • The USER who either updated the agency section OR made the reservation 
    • The level of service (First, Business, Economy)
    • The actual booking code you previously selected
    • How many seats were / are allocated
    • How many seats were  / are available for sale
    • How many seats were / are sold
    • Is the booking class Closed for sale
    • Is the booking class available to the GDS
  • Note that you can print this for your records if needed

 

  • It is suggested that you not click the Display all BC if you have been quite active in the seat allocations as it could slow down the response

 

This functionality is controlled by two Business Rules (BR289 and BR290)
