On Account Payments
Problem
User would like to enable on account payments .
User is trying to show payment "on account" and it gives error 381.
Solution
On account payments first require an associated company account where the debits and credits can be tracked. New agency accounts will have a default company account created and assigned under the same name.
Creating a Company Account and Assigning to an Agency.
- Go to Utilities > Companies
- Select the "add" button, fill in the applicable fields including the "credit limit".
- Add any company representatives in the "Company Representatives" tab.
- Select any agencies to be authorized to make on account payments using the "Authorized Agencies" tab . Move any "agency choices" to the right under "Chosen Agencies"
- Select "save".
Problem
On Account payment method isn't showing for a specific user or reservation on the web.
Solution
- Verify that the On Account payment method is allowed for the user's agency under Utilities > Agencies.
- Verify that the user's agency has an associated Company Account through Utilities > Agencies.
- Verify that the user has the Reservations > Web > Payment - On Account permission granted.
- Verify that the booking has an associated Agency, AND and associated Company in ameliaRES.
