How to set up agency for On Account payments

Agencies can make payments to reservations in a variety of different ways. One of the most common is what is referred to as an "On Account" payment. On Account payments are where the Airline creates a debitable account with an account limit and the agency can charge their reservations to this account. At the end of the month, the Agency sends a payment to the Airline for the full amount of their On Account Payments. The steps below will show you how to set up an Account for an agency to use the On Account Payment Type.

Step-by-step guide

  1.  Navigate to Utilities > Agencies. Click on the agency you would like to add the account for and click Edit.



  2. Under the Agency Account title, there are 2 buttons. Click the New button. Or if you'd like to use existing account information, click the Select button.


  3. If you selected New, enter in the account information.  Or if you selected the Select button, choose an account from the list that displays.


  4. Regardless of what you did for step 3 (new or existing account), click Save once done. Once you do, the account information will be populated on the Account Information tab. The Account Information and Markup and Commission tabs will now be accessible.
