Flight Lock-Out (Phase 1) - How To

We are adding a Flight Lock-Out feature to amelia, which restricts access to a flight when required (such as in an emergency case). In phase 1, a permission will control whether a ‘locked’ flight and its passengers can be seen on the Check In form. So, the Reservations > Operations > Check-In > Locked Flight - Access permission can be granted to only those users who need to see this information. Another permission (Flight Operations > Flight Watch > Locked Flight - Modify) allows the user to lock/unlock flights, which should only be done by appropriate personnel.

This Lock-Out feature will be extended to the remaining areas of the RES suite in future releases.
