Printer Setup (USB)

The following steps show how to set the printer up, configure the print method and update the firmware. Then proceed to either configure it for boarding pass cards or baggage tags.

Boarding Passes

The following instructions show how to configure the printer for thermally activated boarding pass cards. These steps assume the printer has been installed and the firmware has been updated to at least 10.14.X.

  • Go into the Driver settings from Windows Printer settings from Control Panel
  • Measure the width and height of your stock in mm (on a boarding card the 'Exposed Liner Widths' should be zero)
  • Input these values in the driver settings:


Baggage Tags

The following instructions show how to configure the printer for thermally activated baggage tag stock. These steps assume the printer has been installed and the firmware has been updated to at least 10.14.X.

Notes on stock: This printer doesn't by default come with a spool that can hold baggage tag stock. You may need an external spooler to hold the baggage tag stock.

  • Go into Driver settings fro Windows Printer settings from Control Panel
  • Measure the width and height of the sticker in mm, and the gap on the left and right beside the sticker of the exposed sticker liner in mm.
  • Input these values into the driver settings:

  • Run PrintSet5
  • Go to Configuration and then expand Printing and then Media
  • Round up the height measurement you took to the nearest integer, and place it in the Length (Slow Mode) (mm) field.
