Using the IBE with older versions of Internet Explorer

The IBE usually does not support older browser versions. These steps are not guaranteed to fix issues with older browsers, but may help.

Step-by-step guide

Enabling TLS 1.0 in IE 8:

  1. In Internet Explorer, select Tools.
  2. Under Tools, select Internet Options.
  3. In the Internet Options window that appears, select the Advanced tab.
  4. In the Advanced Tab, there is an option to use TLS 1.0, usually towards the bottom of the list. Check 'Use TLS 1.0' and select Apply.
