Applicable Versions
ameliaRES 19.06+
Warnings
This will automatically overwrite your schedule. There is no undo.
Please only import future dated schedules. The SIM import feature works best for dates past today.
Importing
Steps
- Open ameliaRES
- Navigate to Reports > SSIMS
- Select Open SSIM and Allow Access if Prompted so that ameliaRES can see your C: Drive
- Select your .SIM file from the list
- SIM file will now load
Results
If the SIM file is successfully read, any new flights will be added and scheduled.
New flights are added, and existing flights updated.
It is also possible to add "marketed" or code-shared flights here as well. This would need to be codified in the SIM file.
Troubleshooting
There are codes for e-ticketing in the SIM file so if a flight is imported but not visible in the GDS please verify it is coded correctly.
Any issues with the format of the SIM file will cause a rejection.
Non-existent flights with plane models and classes that are known by (read configured in) ameliaRES should be added automatically. Unless BR664 is set to Y , amelia will not attempt to assign seats, so in that case seats are assigned manually.
If importing fails and does not show you a message why, please contact support.
